Akwa Ibom In A Cyclic Evolution : Udomism As Davidism | Chris Abasieyo

INTRODUCTION
Throughout history, there are ample historical indicators, both scientific and traditional, which show that cultures across the globe have been embracing a form of time keeping in line with the zodiac or moon phases and even climatic changes. Egyptology is inundated with instances where the Pharaohs used tidal movements of the Nile to predict the minds of the gods towards the people. However, in the Milky Way Galaxy, there are 12 constellations that the universe passes through, thus 360 degrees of orbit, each constellation assigned 30 degrees.
It takes the earth 25,625 years to go through the whole constellation, what is known as the precession of the equinoxes, said to have been discovered by a Greek scholar, Hipparchus (190 – 120 BC), though there abound disputes over its earlier discovery, such as found in an ancient Indian text – Vedanga Jyotisha (circa 1400 – 1350BC) and many others contained in some ancient literatures.
In the book, Fractal Time, the author, Gregg Braden, talks about cycles of life that have been around for aeons and that every time one is over, another one starts. He talks about the fact that the last decade has represented, in a way, the end of the 5,125 year cycle. Even though the book was referring to the end of times based on Mayan Calendar (an ancient Mesoamerican civilisation), which predicted that the present world cycle was going to end in 2012. Be that as it may, though the world did not come to an abrupt end in 2012, precisely on the 21st of December, but it must be noted that a lot of the changes and scientific approaches that Gregg Braden gives, are very interesting and, to some extent, valid. In same manner, what I am about to say, speaks volumes, having been gleaned from empirical surveys and peeped through the crystal ball.
THE FUTURE IN THE CYCLES OF THE PAST
The world revolves around cycles and even individual lives pivot around cycles. The future is merely the past repeating itself in a redefined space. The question to ask, therefore, is it possible to prepare for the future, seeing it is the past that is coming around all over again? Yes, one must be prepared always for the immediate future.
Though things around us follow a natural law of some sort, but it requires us to understand the events around us to be better prepared. If the world can know about when a time cycle starts and the events that occur in that cycle and know the end of that same cycle, then preparing for the future may be easily predicted.
The Time Code studies offer a powerful window into the events of the past as well as the future. The key to the code is that time repeats itself in cyclic patterns and that each pattern is similar to the last one, but more powerful in terms of intensity. This theory states that the worlds are born and die and a new one is reborn.
It identifies the worlds that have been destroyed in the past: It states that the first world was destroyed by fire, the second by ice and the third by water. The last world destruction agrees with the Biblical destruction of the world during the Noachian deluge.
However, let it be stated clearly that, that Time cannot be explained. People who give a definition of time do so relating it to their experiences in life measured against time. Time cannot be saved and used in some future, neither can it be photographed. It’s something that we all experience and yet cannot describe satisfyingly. Among others, this is why some scientists have tried to understand time.
Terence McKenna was one such researcher who never gave up on exploring time. He invented a special computer programme called Time Wave Zero. This machine, like the Mayan traditions and the Aztec theories on time, calculated the year 2012 as the year when profound changes in the universe would occur. One legendary scientist defined it as that which prevents things from happening all at once, while the great legend and alter-ego of modern science, Albert Einstein, postulates that
Time cannot be absolutely defined and there is an inseparable relation between time and signal velocity.”
Events happen in our daily lives much to our chagrin and sometimes happiness that accompany such acts as more often than not, especially as history continues to repeat itself in love and war.
One typical example, is contained in the similarities and coincidences in the assassinations of two American presidents (Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy) and the events thereof. It is of interest to note that the assassinations happened one hundred years apart, yet the similarities are astounding to say the least.
I remind you too of the periodic comet known as Halley’s Comet which reappears on Earth every 75-76 years or thereabout. Back in the 18th century, Edmond Halley, an English astronomer, concluded that reports of a comet appearing in 1531, 1607 and 1682, was actually the same comet which reappears within intervals of 75-76 years, thus predicting that the comet will return in 1758.
Although Halley died before then, it actually reappeared. Again, Halley’s Comet returned to the same spot in the skies when the celebrated author Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, was born on November 30, 1835 in Florida, Missouri. And, 74 years after his birth in 1909, Mark Twain offered a prediction, saying that “It will be the greatest disappointment of my life, if I don’t go out with Halley’s Comet…” Alas, just as he predicted, Mark Twain died of a heart attack on April 21, 1910—the day after Halley’s Comet emerged from the far side of the Sun.
In recent history, Halley’s Comet reappeared in 1986 and is calculated to renter our seeable skies again in 2061.
Indeed, such coincidences are copious. Do you still recall “Miss Unsinkable” Violet Jessop? She was on board three gigantic sister ships (Olympic, Titanic and Britannic) when disasters struck them and lived to tell the tales. Incidentally, the names of all the three ships, ended with letters “IC”. Jessop was serving aboard the Olympic in September, 1911, during its fifth commercial voyage when the liner collided with the HMS Hawke near the Isle of Wight, in southern England.
Jessop, then made the move to the Titanic in time for the “unsinkable” ship’s maiden voyage in April 14, 1912, when it sailed out of Southampton en route to New York City. She later wrote in her memoirs of the unforgettable night of April 14-15, when the ship hit an iceberg and sank, taking some 1,500 people along with it. Jessop survived.
The third White Star ship, the Britannic, was requisitioned as a hospital ship after World War I broke out. Remarkably, Jessop—by then a nurse in the British Red Cross—was serving aboard the Britannic in November 1916, when the ship struck a mine planted by a German U-boat in the Aegean Sea, killing 30 persons aboard. Jessop “Miss Unsinkable” was among the survivors. She continued till retirement before she died in 1971.
Need I add more?
Here comes another baffling coincidence. In Monza, Italy, King Umberto I, the last but one King of Italy and son of King Victor Emmanuel, went to a small restaurant known as fordinner, accompanied by his aide-de-camp, General Emilio Ponzia-Vaglia.
When the owner took King Umberto’s order, the King noticed that he and the restaurant owner were virtual doubles in face and in build. Both men began discussing the striking resemblances between each other and found many more similarities. In the process, both men discovered to their stupefaction that they were born on the same day, of the same year (March 14th, 1844) and in the same town. Again, to their wonderment, both of them married a woman with same name, Margherita. And as fate would have it, the restauranteur, opened his restaurant on the same day that King Umberto was crowned King of Italy, being the 9th of January, 1878. Finally, on a sad note, on the 29th of July 1900, King Umberto was informed that the restauranteur had died that day in a mysterious shooting accident and, as he expressed his regret, he was then assassinated by an anarchist in the crowd.
Chris Abasi Eyo! stop belabouring us with too much details of your time code studies and historical coincidences, tell us where Akwa Ibom belongs in the whole of this cyclic pattern of events around the world.
AKWA IBOM IN CYCLIC CRYSTAL BALL
As noted previously, emerging periods in the evolution of mankind are replicas of periods of historical antiquity. For examples, in such cyclic corresponding events, studies have attempted severally to compare American Presidents and their reigns with biblical Kings and rulership.
A few of such cases claim that President Lincoln, was sent in the mould of Prophet Moses. This comparison is informed by the fact that, like Moses, Abraham Lincoln, was the one who had proclaimed liberty throughout America, leading his people to the Promised Land, but didn’t himself enter into the Promised Land, which is why he is comparable to Moses.
In same token, came President Donald Trump, who was believed to be Jehu, who slain Jezebel, the way, he, Donald, defeated Hillary Clinton. There are many of such cases.
Given the foregoing, which biblical King is Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, similar to? My empiricism and intuition direct my searchlight on the Jewish King David. Why?
Whereas King David was the least in the house of Jesse until he slayed Goliath, Udom Emmanuel, similarly, was unmentioned in the Akwa Ibom political roll call for governor, until he surprisingly became the SSG, Whereas King David leveraged on his experiences in slaying many ravenous predators which came to prey on his flock in order to kill Goliath with ease, Governor Udom Emmanuel also leveraged on his expertise in the banking sector, which saw him close to becoming the Central Bank Governor, to steer the ship of statecraft with dexterity, Whereas King David had a Chief of Staff in the person of Joab who was his nephew and a son of his half-sister, Zeruiah, and therefore related by blood, so also is Udom Emmanuel’s estranged Chief of Staff, a member of his household and a kinsman, Whereas Joab went full blown against the preference of King David for his successor (Solomon), by supporting Adonijah, the surviving eldest son of David, so is Governor Udom Emmanuel’s estranged Chief of Staff, having a different preference entirely,
Whereas Solomon, the preferred of King David, was the second son of her mother, Bathsheba, the preferred of Governor Udom Emmanuel, Pastor Umo Eno, is the second son of his father,
Whereas King Solomon built a Jewish Temple for the worship of Jehovah, so has Pastor Umo Eno built a Church and preaches the gospel of Christ Jesus, Whereas King Solomon suffered indignation because of his complexion, which informed why he said “Look not upon me, because I am black…” (Songs of Solomon 1:6), the same has become true of Pastor Umo Eno, whose orange colour is a subject of brickbats, and whereas “black” is beautiful, indeed, “orange” is fast becoming a gold, because, the season for such realisation is at hand.
Therefore, many at times, when people win or lose, apart from the God factor, it is not because the losers were weaker while the winners were stronger. Instead, it is often because of the timing of their actions. A cogent example here, was the emergence of Godswill Obot Akpabio as PDP governorship standard bearer in 2006. The PDP primary, which produced him, was dragged on for three days with venues changed from House of Assembly’s premises to Ibom Hall.
This protraction with the attendant stress, resulted in many original delegates, especially the elderly, retiring back homes, from where surrogate delegates filled the gaps. And Akpabio emerged instead of Udoma Ekarika who would have won, were the primary conducted on the first day.
The inference from the foregoing are humongous, but a few will suffice. Primarily, the deduction from here is that the human family or the Akwa Ibom community is expected to be both sensitive and responsive to the demands of this Davidic time that is getting Udomesticated.
This is to the effect that since King David succeeded with his preferred candidate as his successor, that since Joab, David’s Chief of Staff and his Adonjah did not succeed, so shall it be for today’s estranged Chief of Staff and his Adonijah.
In the final analysis, and very importantly too, note must be taken, not to think that, since Saul failed to transmit power successfully to Jonathan, his son, that the replay of 2006, where distractions, arising from a presidential ambition in Abuja, left the home front unshepherded, may lead to Umo Enoists, joining Martha to say “If you had been here, my brother Lazarus wouldn’t have died.”
No, not so. Notwithstanding the similarities in this narrative, Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, is a jinx breaker. Prior to 2019, media space was musingly inundated with satires and innuendos that, it was easier for Sarah Jubril to become the President of Nigeria, than for Udom Emmanuel to win a second term in office. Such narratives derived its elasticity from the assumption that, a pioneer Governor of Awa Iman extraction, Chief (Dr.) Clement Nyong Isong, himself, an economist and a banker as it is with Udom Emmanuel, his kinsman, failed to succeed himself in office as Governor of the erstwhile Cross Rivers State, and to that extent, that Governor Udom Emmanuel, wasn’t going to succeed in his second term bid. This prediction failed, and, all is now history. He is a jinx breaker.
Therefore, I say to Governor Udom Emmanuel, go in that thy might, and become the President of a new Nigeria for all Nigerians. I say, Go!
