Ikpoto Okon Osung Undergraduate Essay Competition |Oro Leadership Roundtable

2ND EDITION OF IKPOTO OKON OSUNG UNDERGRADUATE ESSAY COMPETITION
Last year, Oro Nation Leadership Roundtable instituted an essay competition in honour of Ikpoto Okon Osung. The first edition was a huge success as those who emerged tops carted away varying prizes. Besides extending financial assistance to serious and outstanding undergraduates, the main objective of the competition is to encourage learning, promote research and inspire hard work among today’s students.
Buoyed by last year’s success and impressive feedbacks from the participants, the organization decided to organize the 2nd edition of the competition with improvements in prizes and administration. In the last edition, everything, from call for entries, assessment to the actual award was done within one month. Yet, a total of eighty seven (87) entries were received. For this edition, we expect more entries as interested candidates are given a full month to research and write their essays which will be reviewed by a team of highly professional independent assessors.
